DAY TWO HUNDRED FIFTY SIX
My friend and I took a long drive and I stopped when we reached Highway 176 to take a photo of the day.
Spoiler: The sky was blown out so I replaced it with the sky from another photo.

DAY TWO HUNDRED FIFTY FIVE
This is my parents' fishing pond. It's a little low on water right now but usually it's filled to the top. It's always filled with fish, turtles, and occasionally snakes like to go for a swim. I still fish the old fashioned way with a cane, a line, and some bait and I have yet to come up empty handed.

DAY TWO HUNDRED FIFTY FOUR
I love driving in the south - open roads, I can talk on my cell phone, less traffic, and people don't/won't usually hog the fast lane.

DAY TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THREE
This is the view along the road to my parent's house. This field grows cotton..plenty of cotton and while I love the fabric, the smell is a force to be reckoned with. But it only smells when the cotton is mature so I was lucky enough to visit before that time and get the wonderful smell of fresh, clean air!

DAY TWO HUNDRED FIFTY TWO
Today I took most of my photos at my Grandmother's house but I know she would be very sensitive to me uploading the photos I took of her so I uploaded a cropped photo of an item that was in her house which is very decorated.

DAY TWO HUNDRED FIFTY ONE
Times flies when you're on a time zone that's earlier than yours and when you're having fun. Before I knew it, it was night time and I decided to take a long exposure shot at my parents' house. Now as many of you know I love taking long exposure shots at night - except I forgot about the bug/mosquito factor of the South. I was swatting something every few seconds but it was a beautiful night. When I was a kid, deer would come in our yard but quickly run away when we came outside. Now they'll graze around our pond with us outside. They are so cute!

DAY TWO HUNDRED FIFTY
So I finally made it to South Carolina but I got in a little later than I expected. What a bummer! Most of the places to get something to eat are closed except Waffle House! I just love this place. To me, they have the best cherry cokes. Luckily, one of my friends came and hung out with me while I ate since I was still on west coast time.

DAY TWO HUNDRED FORTY NINE
I don't like flying as much as I used to and I have a love/hate relationship with early morning flights. 6 am is great because I'm able to get to my destination sooner but at 6 am with a brain that is barely functioning, is not a good thing. Not getting a proper breakfast takes its toll when I'm on a plane for 3 hours that will only have a complimentary beverage service. Is there an emoticon for a sarcastic smile? Anyway, I packed my trusty LaraBars to get me going.

DAY TWO HUNDRED FORTY EIGHT
Leaving Vegas, I witnessed a beautiful sunset. I didn't stop to take it because I was so ready to get home after all of the traffic so I took this while doing 60 mph. :)

DAY TWO HUNDRED FORTY SEVEN
For the first time in Vegas, I went shopping and was in the right place at the right time to catch the True Religion Fashion Show.

DAY TWO HUNDRED FORTY SIX
I went to Las Vegas the weekend of Memorial Day and had a blast! While I was riding around, I was right under the Stratosphere and saw a great photo opportunity.

DAY TWO HUNDRED FORTY FIVE
Out of ideas tonight as I'm working on so many things lately so I took a picture of the Izze bottle I just finished and had rolling around on my bed in all of the commotion of everything else rolling around on my bed. (Keep your minds out of the gutter. ;)

DAY TWO HUNDRED FORTY FOUR
This picture I just had to post as a remembrance of an inside joke between friends. I'll definitely want to remember this day with Larry (especially), Monica, and Mark!
