I believe the last time I took a water droplet shot was last December when I rented the Nikkor 105mm macro (old version) lens. I decided it was time to take another one. I take great pleasure in macro shots. I believe perhaps it's the precision and near perfection it requires to execute them which allows me to focus on just that one thing and block out everything else in the world.
