DAY ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY SIX
Today, I took my first photo of a stranger! I was apprehensive about asking at first but I decided that I had been putting it off for far too long.
Meet Ale. Ale was sitting at the bottom of the Highland Center in Hollywood and I noticed him because he was dozing off in spite of the buzzing tourists that come with Hollywood. I did not want to interrupt his sleep but I figured I would politely ask, take a quick snap if he agreed, and then let him have his rest. Ale and I talked for quite a while. He used to enjoy watching Sanford & Son, The Flintstones, and really intense movies. Now he enjoys watching the more optimistic, light movies. Ale is a blues guitarist. He has played his music from Mexico to Canada and hopes to be discovered someday.
See the outtake for this shot here.
